What's in my purse

Today launches a short series called "What's in your purse".  This is just a small and quick look at what some of the women we see or talk to every day carry in their purse. 

We'll start with me this week.

This is not my everyday purse, because sadly it is falling apart, but this is one that I bought for a two reasons. 
1.  It's Pink
2.  It sparkles

No really...I'm not a 4 year old but my eye still goes to those pink sparkly girly things...and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

So this one is reserved for just once in a while since I found a few of the jewels starting to fall off when I was carrying it daily.
In my purse I pretty much carry the same things every day no matter what purse I have, and yes many of those things all have a pink color to them as well.

When purse shopping I don't necessarily have a style, brand or color that I am looking for, but I am always conscious of the price.  I am one that has been known to change a purse often so I don't like to invest a lot of money into them.

I do carry a wallet but it seems it's only purpose is as a place holder and to to hold a few coupons, frequent purchase cards and our library cards.  I buy one with good intentions of using it, but then fall back to my Fossil key chain coin purse that can hold my drivers license, debit card and any cash that I just might have.  This works well for running into stores so I don't need to carry my purse all the time.

I am not one to change my purse with my outfit, but I might change it with an event.  If I am going to a more formal event (formal being used loosely here) I wouldn't want to bring along my every-day purse, as well as when were going camping I might throw my essential "must haves" in a weekend carry along bag.

There are just a few things that I must have in my purse, my point and shoot camera for that shot I just have to get, my lotion which seems to be the second most used item in my purse and then my iPod which is by far THE most used item; I must have music to listen to...the iPod is quite certainly for everyone elses benefit; if I'm not listening to music I have been known to start singing crooning - yikes!

As I was cleaning shoveling out my purse for this post, the most random thing I found was a few paint chips that I had picked up when trying to decide on a color to re-paint the family room with.  Looking at it now..."what was I thinking" is going trough my head; good thing it was just a paint chip and not the real thing!
