High Five Friday

Finally it's Friday!  I have had one of those drag yourself out of bed, rub the cotten out of your eyes and drudge through the day in hopes that this day would get her soon enough!

But despite all of this I can conjure up a few things to call it still a good week.

1.  We made it to the island last weekend and spent a great night there camping.  The kids spent most of there time on the large water tramp or canoeing.

2.  Gizmo has once again started using the doggy door or asking to go outside suddenly...anyone who knows this little (old) dog and of all his issues and doggy diapers we go through would certainly understand how exciting this is for us. 

3  I tried a new cookie recipee that turned out delicious, and even got a "these are good" from the hubby! I will post the recipee soon.

4.  We remembered to do all of Justin's turns this second phase on his mouth applicance,  and today he was given a temporary release...in August he will get the remainingn braces added.

5.  And my BEST high five of the week, drum roll here....the kids did extra chores on Tuesday without a list, without being asked and even offered to mow the back yard for me so I could have time to sit back - relax and then make them cookies.
