Justin had a great football season and is already talking about next year. I am happy to say that I enjoyed this football season too; what a great bunch of parents and kids we had on our team! The cheerleaders were pretty entertaining too!
Blaine is off on his big fishing trip this weekend, glad it's a guy only thing because looking out the front window is as close to water is I want to be these days. Hope they have a great time and catch lots for their suppers!
Blaine has been an avid hunter his whole life and added bow hunting to his list a few years back, much to his delight Justin has always wanted to follow in those footsteps. This year Blaine purchased Justin his first bow and the two of them have been out nightly taking practice shots and going over the rules and safety. I'm not sure which one is more excited about getting it out of the back yard and using real targets.
During the winter it seems that most people's schedules would slow down and that they would stay indoors more to keep warm, this doesn't seem to be the case at our household; I'm not sure if we don't know the rules or if we just choose to ignore the cold. Justin and Kayla both started their Saturday Skating lessons, Justin started Hockey this week, Kayla's gymnastics will be starting up the first week of November and then Basketball along with it in January. I don't remember ever being this busy as a kid...hope this doesn't reveal to much of my age - LOL!!
Think warm thoughts and maybe the sun will shows it's face again soon!
